A parking garage with multiple cars, some on an elevated platform. Two cars in the foreground are highlighted with glowing blue outlines, suggesting the use of automated or smart parking technology.

We’re happy to share a new video that takes you inside the software that powers every Volley-automated garage. This video complements our mission to demystify how advanced software transforms robotic parking from concept to reliable real-world performance. The software layer is where the system coordinates vehicles, predicts demand, and manages every move with precision and safety.

At the core of Volley’s solution is a control architecture designed for orchestration, not just automation. You’ll see how Volley’s software continuously plans and replans in real time to manage vehicle placement, retrieval, lift scheduling, and traffic flows across an entire garage. This is conflict-based planning in action, ensuring AGVs, lifts, and bays work in concert without interference, even under peak load.

The video also highlights how the system uses data to optimize throughput and responsiveness. Volley doesn’t treat every day the same: it learns from usage patterns and adapts sequencing to minimize wait times and improve service. Predictive sequencing means the system can anticipate demand and position vehicles intelligently before they are requested.

Software also powers our capability to develop digital twins of garages for simulation-based design and validation. Prior to deployment, every configuration is simulated to validate performance, throughput, and layout efficiency. This reduces risk and gives developers confidence that the system will perform as expected once operational.

For operators, the video illustrates how the software presents actionable insights through dashboards and analytics. Real-time status, traffic trends, and operational health can be monitored remotely. Integration points to building management systems further extend visibility and control.

And of course, the video reinforces the enhanced experience enjoyed by end users: simple check-in, automatic placement, and swift retrieval. Parking becomes seamless, predictable, and dependable.

Watch the video to learn how Volley’s software orchestrates robotics and control logic into a cohesive, high-performance parking solution that is transforming how developers, architects, and owners think about parking.
